About Dominique Jones
Dominique Jones joined the Dallas Mavericks in 2010 after a standout career at the University of South Florida. While playing for the Bulls from 2007 to 2010 he earned 1st Team All-Big East honors as a junior after scoring 21.4 points per game and averaging 6.1 rebounds. He is widely considered to be the best player in South Florida history, having averaged 17.1 points as a freshman and 18.1 points as a sophomore. In 2010 the Grizzlies selected Jones with the 25th overall pick in the 1st round of the NBA Draft. Upon being drafted he was traded the Dallas Mavericks and became a member of their highly successful 2011 NBA Championship team. During much of his career he has bounced back and forth between the NBA and the D-League, but has remained a top performer and a consistent worker. Known for being a great teammate, Jones strives to lead by example in all he does both on and off the court.
