About Courtney Lee
Courtney Lee is a professional basketball player, most notably known for playing shooting guard or small forward in the National Basketball Association. He was born in 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana and has always stood out as an exceptional basketball player. In high school, Lee led his Indianapolis high school team to several state championships and was recruited to play for Western Kentucky University. In his first season with the Hilltoppers, he set a record for scoring the most points in the fewest amount of games. Lee went through a rough time at Western Kentucky when his teammate passed away after hitting a gamewinning shot right by Lee’s side in 2005. Pushing through the rest of the season in his honor, Lee went on to be selected in the first round of the 2008 NBA Draft after college. He debuted professionally with the Orlando Magic. Lee was recognized for his hard work and dedication to the sport when he was awarded with the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year title in 2008.
