Christian Wood is a star center for the Dallas Mavericks. Wood became a standout in the NBA during his two seasons with the Houston Rockets, averaging 19.1 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. His success with the Rockets was incredible considering he was undrafted out of UNLV and had previously spent time with five other NBA teams. Wood had flashed great potential at times prior to his Houston arrival, winning All-Mountain West first-team honors in 2015 and earning two All-NBA G-League selections.
