About Chip Ganassi
Chip Ganassi has one of the most distinguished motosports careers of all-time. As the owner and CEO of Chip Ganassi Racing, he operates race teams in IndyCar and NASCAR Sprint Cup among other top series. They currently sponsor ten teams across six different racing series. Chip Ganassi Racing drivers have won 17 championships and captured over 160 victories. Ganassi's teams have won four Indianapolis 500s, a Daytona 500, a Brickyard 400. They have been victorious six times at the 24 Hours of Daytona and once at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Ganassi began his career as an owner with one car on the IndyCar series in 1990. He spent significant time as a professional driver in the 1980s, mostly in the CART series.
