About Austin Dillon
One of the brightest young hopefuls in NASCAR, Austin Dillon has steadily moved his way up in the racing world. Dillon won the 2011 Camping World Truck Series and the 2013 Nationwide Series. He also captured Rookie of the Year honors on both circuits the year prior to his championships. Dillon has a record of four straight poles on the Nationwide Series (now known as the Xfinity Series). With his 2013 title win, he became the first driver to ever capture a championship without winning an individual race during the year. Dillon now drives full time in Sprint Cup and has four top ten finishes. He runs in the #3 car for his grandfather at Richard Childress Racing. His father Mike is a former driver and general manager of RCR and brother Ty drives full-time in the Xfinity Series. Since he drives under the same number the legendary Dale Earnhardt did, Dillon has developed a larger than usual fanbase for a young driver.
