About Cale Hulse
Cale Huse played 14 seasons in the NHL with the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes and Columbus Blue Jackets after being selected with the 66th overall pick in the 1992 NHL Draft. Huse made his pro debut in 1993 after one season in the American Hockey League with the Albany River Rats. In 1995 he returned to the River Rats and helped them to an American Hockey League Calder Cup. During his career he scored 16 goals as a defenseman and added another 79 assists for a total of 95 points in 619 games. He also added 1000 penalty minutes for good measure, which is a testament to his toughness on the ice while being fully committed to protecting his side of the ice. After his retirement he dedicated his life to spending time with his wife and young children and continues to be a valuable ambassador for the sport of hockey.
