Bryan Price

Bryan Price played college baseball at the University of California and was a standout pitcher for the Golden Bears before taking his talents to the pro level with the California Angels organization.  Price pitched four years in the minor leagues with the Angels and Mariners organizations and compiled a 31-19 record with a 3.74 ERA in 90 career games before retiring and setting his eyes on a professional coaching career.  In 2001 the Seattle Mariners hired Price as their pitching coach and quickly became one of the top pitching coaches in the game, earning USA Today Baseball Weekly’s Pitching Coach of the Year of the year during his first season after leading his staff to an American League leading 3.54 ERA.  Price remained with the Mariners until 2006 and then was hired as the Diamondbacks pitching coach in 2007.  After two years with the Diamondbacks he was hired in the same role with the Cincinnati Reds and eventually was named manager of the Reds in 2014.
