About Brent Seabrook
Through the recent run of success for the Chicago Blackhawks, Brent Seabrook has served as a rock on defense. Seabrook has won two Stanley Cups with the Blackhawks and played a significant role in their run to the 2013 title. He defeated the Detroit Red Wings with a Game 7 overtime goal in the Conference Semifinals and had the game winner against the Boston Bruins in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final. Chicago originally selected Seabrook 14th overall in the 2003 NHL Draft. He grew up in British Columbia and played junior hockey in the WHL. In just his first year away from juniors, Seabrook made the Blackhawks roster. He has also represented Canada in international play, winning an Olympic gold medal in 2010. Always actively looking to expand his impact in Chicago, Seabrook holds an annual celebrity bowling tournament in conjunction with the Inner-City Education Program.
