About Yushin Okami
Yushin Okami is a top middleweight mixed martial artist who has fought all over the world. Okami has over 30 professional wins and collected many of those in the UFC. While he currently fights in the World Series of Fighting, he is best known for his eight years in the Octagon. In 2011, Okami fought for the UFC Middleweight Championship, but lost to all-time great Anderson Silva. Just five years earlier, he had become one of the few men to ever defeat Silva while they were competing in Rumble on the Rock. As a UFC fighter, Okami went 13-5. He had a debut win in the UFC over Alan Belcher at UFC 162 and proceeded to win his next three fights. Okami gained most of his notoriety in the MMA world fighting in Japan and started his career 6-0.
