About Vicky Galindo
Vicky Galindo is a professional softball player who competes for Team USA on an international level and for the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch league. As an amateur, Galindo played at West Valley Junior College before attending the University of California where she was a 3 year starter for the Bears softball team. In college, Galindo was a 2x First-Team All-American and was regularly one of the most productive hitters on the team. Following her college career in 2005, she began playing for Team USA at third and second base and helped lead Team USA to several medals in international play. The Americans won back-to-back gold medals at the 06 & 07 World Cups and at the 2008 Olympic Games they brought home the silver medal. Galindo has also spent some of her free time as an assistant coach for her alma mater as well as San Jose State University.
