Travis Outlaw is a professional basketball player who has made a career for himself in the National Basketball Association. Travis began playing the game of basketball competitively at a young age in high school. Throughout his high school career Travis showed just how skilled he was and he became a standout star on the team in Starkville, Mississippi. In 2003 Travis was selected in the NBA Draft right out of high school as the 23rdoverall selection and went to play for the Portland Trail Blazers. Standing at 6’9’’ Travis played as a forward and averaged 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game during his first 5 years in the league, and in 2007 he set a personal best with 36 points against the Golden State Warriors. He has since gone on to play in 628 career games with teams including the Clippers, New Jersey Nets, and Sacramento Kings, and was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in late 2014.
