Torii Hunter

Torii Hunter was a professional baseball player in Major League Baseball who spent the majority of his career with the Minnesota Twins. Torii's professional career began right out of high school when he was selected as the first round draft selection of the Twins. Hunter spent the next few years developing his skills further at the minor league level before making his major league debut in 1997. Since that time Torii has become one of the best outfielders in the game playing for the Twins, Los Angeles Angels, and Detroit Tigers. He has amassed a better than .275 career batting average with more than 2,000 hits and over 350 home runs. His production on the diamond since he began playing full time in 1999 led him to being selected as a five-time All-Star, a nine-time Gold Glove Award recipient, and a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner.
