About Tony Schumacher
Tony Schumacher is a driver in NHRA drag racing. He began competing on the NHRA circuit in 1999 where he quickly showed he had the speed to compete with everyone else when he became the first driver to ever exceed 300 miles per hour in competition. Since then Tony has continued to win, and become one of the fan favorites at every event. While racing at the zMax Dragway in 2012 Schumacher bettered his previous feat of 300 miles per hour by reaching an amazing 330 miles per hour in the 1,000 foot NHRA era. Over his career Tony has become one of the most decorated drivers in the sport with a total of 8 championships, six of them consecutively, as well as becoming the winningest driver in NHRA Top Fuel history in 2008, a number he has continued to improve upon ever since, to now more than 75 career victories.
