About Tommy Sanders
Tommy Sanders is a sportscaster working for the prestigious ESPN network where he is the host of the networks outdoors program ESPN Outdoors. Prior to joining ESPN he worked in television as a writer and producer in Arkansas where he grew up, and worked as a freelance writer and on-air host of industrial and educational films for seven years. Sanders joined the network in 1990 when the outdoor program was launched. He also serves an integral role in other programs including coverage of the Bassmaster Classic fishing tournament, the FLW Tournament series, and he also serves as a co-host on Saltwater TV, a weekly webcast for ESPN. His work has been recognized as he has been inducted into the Arkansas Outdoor Hall of Fame in 2009 and his coverage of the 2008 and 2009 Bassmaster Classic coverage was nominated for the Sports Emmy Award in the Outstanding Live Event category.
