Bill Maas is a former NFL defensive tackle for the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs. In the 1984 NFL draft Bill was selected as the 5th pick overall, and became the NFL Rookie of the Year by seasons end. During his playing career Maas was relentless in his pass rushing ability and because of it became a two time Pro Bowl selection, a two time All-Pro, and recorded 40 sacks. Since his retirement in 1993, Bill spent a few years away from the game but returned as a broadcaster. In 1998 Bill became a commentator for Fox Sports where he spent 12 seasons. From 1998 to 2001, Bill also served as a studio anchor and analyst for NFL games. In 2010 Bill went on to join Block & Company, a real estate company. Maas has since served as the Director of Real Estate Services in the Kansas City area.
