About Todd Rogers
Todd Rogers has spent his entire career soaking in rays and enjoying the beach while playing some stellar volleyball. Along with his former playing partner, Phil Dalhausser, Rogers won the AVP Tour in five consecutive years from 2007 to 2011 and dominated the international circuit. In 2008 he and Dalhausser took home a Gold Medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and also won a Gold and Bronze Medal at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2007 and 2009 respectively. Rogers got started in beach volleyball while playing college ball at UC Santa Barbara and fell in love with the sport. Overall, he’s competed in two Olympic Games and has taken home several awards on the AVP, including earning Best Defensive Player honors every year from 2004 to 2008, earning the AVP Rookie of the Year Award in 1997 and being named MVP in 2006. Between playing stints he has served as an assistant coach at UC Santa Barbara.
