About Logan Tom
Logan Tom played her collegiate volleyball at Stanford University after setting a Utah high school state record for most career kills. While in high school she also earned all-state honors on the basketball court and placed third in the state in the javelin throw. In 1999 she was named the Utah Volleyball Gatorade State Player of the Year and signed with Stanford. While playing for the Cardinals she was named to the US Olympic Team in 2000, becoming the youngest player ever named to the Olympic team at age 19. She went on to win the American Volleyball Coaches Association Player of the Year award in 2001 and 2002 and earn first-team All-American honors in four consecutive seasons. After earning her degree she turned pro and led Team USA to a four gold medals and two bronze medals at the FIVB World Grand Prix, a silver and two bronze medals at the FIVB World Cup, a silver medal at the FIVB World Championship in 2002 and two Olympic silver medals in 2008 and 2012. In 2013 she was inducted into the Stanford University Athletics Hall of Fame and was honored with induction into the Utah Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.
