About Kerri Walsh Jennings
There are not many American Olympians in recent memory more revered than Kerri Walsh Jennings.Walsh teamed with Misty May-Treanor to win Olympic beach volleyball gold in 2004, 2008, and 2012.The duo also were three-time World Championship gold medalists.While May-Treanor retired from competition, Walsh-Jennings continued through to the 2016 Olympics, winning bronze with her new partner April Ross.
Walsh Jennings was also a star for years on the AVP Tour, winning the tour’s MVP Award in 2003 and 2004.The May-Walsh team was named AVP Team of the Year six straight times.Walsh Jennings competed internationally on the FIVB Tour and was named the Most Outstanding Player in 2007.
Before her historic run on the beach, Walsh Jennings was one best college volleyball players of all time at Stanford.She was a four-time first-team All-American and won two national championships.
