About Tim Kennedy
Tim Kennedy is an MMA fighter with a combined professional record of 18-6. Some people call sports stars heroes, well Tim Kennedy is one in the truest sense of the word. Although he loved to compete in MMA events while in college, after he earned his B.A. in criminal justice in 2002, he enlisted in the United States Army and joined the elite ranks of the Army Green Berets. During his time in the Army, he became a decorated American hero, earning the Bronze Star while also earning his Ranger tab and qualifications as a sniper and sniper instructor.
With his goals to be a pro fighter after the Army in mind, he continued to compete in between deployments and training and finally pursued his career in 2009 when he transitioned to the Texas Army National Guard. Since that time the Ju-Jitsu and Modern Army Combative Program Black Belt has fought professionally in the middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions.
