About Thatcher Demko
Thatcher Demko has become a standout goaltender with the Vancouver Canucks. Demko was originally a second-round pick of the franchise in the 2018 NHL Draft after an impressive run at Boston College. He helped lead the Eagles to two Frozen Four trips and one the Mike Richter Award as the top goalie in college hockey.
Demko made his NHL debut in 2018, but solidified his status going forward during the 2020 Playoffs. He started three games against the top-seeded Vegas Golden Knights, recording 123 stops on 125 shots and nearly leading the team to an upset. Demko was named an All-Star for the first time in 2022.
