About Terry Stotts
Terry Stotts is currently the lead assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors. Stotts is a former three-time NBA head coach who most recently led the Portland Trail Blazers to eight straight playoff berths. He also coached the Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks for two seasons each, but only reached the playoffs once with the Bucks.
In between his time in Portland and Milwaukee, Stotts was an assistant with the Dallas Mavericks and got a championship ring in 2011. In his early coaching days, he was a pupil of George Karl first serving on his staff with the CBA’s Albany Patroons. Stotts also coached with Karl with the Seattle SuperSonics, Milwaukee Bucks. The Houston Rockets selected him in the second round of the 1980 NBA Draft out of Oklahoma, but he played his entire professional career almost exclusively overseas.
