About Tavita Pritchard
Tavita Pritchard is the head football coach at Stanford University, celebrated for his quarterback development and his loyalty to Stanford. A standout at Clover Park High, he threw for 5,323 yards and 55 TDs. At Stanford (2006–2009), Pritchard started 20 games, amassing 2,865 passing yards and 15 TDs. Post-graduation, he joined Stanford's staff in 2010 as a graduate assistant, advancing to defensive assistant (2011–2012), running backs coach (2013), quarterbacks/wide receivers coach (2014–2017), and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach (2018–2022). In 2023, Pritchard became the Washington Commanders' quarterbacks coach, guiding Jayden Daniels' Rookie of the Year campaign and a 12-5 playoff run in 2024. On November 28, 2025, Stanford GM Andrew Luck hired Pritchard as the 37th head coach in Palo Alto.
