About Shawn Jordan
Shawn Jordan is a professional mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. In high school, Jordan played football, basketball, wrestling and track and field. Jordan attended Louisiana State University where he played football and was a member of the 2007 National Championship team. In February 2008, Jordan made his first amateur debut in mixed martial arts that ended in a loss. In 2009, Jordan came back with a TKO victory. His mixed martial arts professional debut came in May 2009 and he won by submission. Jordan debuted for the promotion on June 22, 2011 and lost by a unanimous decision. Due to the dissolution of Strikeforce, Jordan made his transition to the UFC. His first official UFC fight came against Oli Thompson. So far in his career, Jordan has fought in a total of 22 fights. Jordan has won 16 of his fights; 12 by knockout, 3 by submission and 1 by decision.
