About Shaun O'Hara
Shaun O’Hara is a Chicago, Illinois native and played his college football at Rutgers as a center. In 2000 he joined the Cleveland Browns as a non-drafted free agent and has since become one of the top offensive lineman in the NFL. From 2008 to 2010 he earned three consecutive Pro-Bowl appearances while playing for the New York Giants and helped the Giants to a win in Super Bowl XLII. In 2008 he was named a Second Team All-Pro and served as one of the captains of the Giants offensive line. In 2012 O’Hara announced his retirement from the NFL and joined the NFL Network and ESPN Radio as an expert football analyst. Off the field O’Hara served on the Giants’ Leadership Council and was named Giants Man of the Year and United Way’s Hometown Hero in 2005 due to his involvement with several community organizations. In 2009 he and his wife launched the Shaun O’Hara Foundation with the mission to increase knowledge and education for life-threatening diseases for which there is limited funding.
