About Jesse Palmer
Jesse Palmer played his college football at the University of Florida, where he passed for 3,755 yards during his four-year career and led the Gators to an SEC Championship in 2000. Upon earning degrees in political science and marketing he set his sights on a career in the NFL. In 2001 the New York Giants selected him in the fourth round with the 125th overall pick in the NFL Draft. Palmer played three seasons in New York before joining the San Francisco Giants in 2005. After one season with the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League in 2006 he turned his focus to broadcasting. When he joined Fox in 2005 and then returned to the booth in 2006 he was clearly a natural, having already had some experience in front of the camera as The Bachelor in 2004. In 2007 he signed on with ESPN as an expert college football analyst and has since been a mainstay on such hit shows as College Football Live, College GameDay and ESPN Thursday Night College Football. In 2014 he joined the announcing crew on the SEC Network, where he provide analysis and play by play for some of the biggest games of the year.
