About Sara Walsh
Sara Walsh is most famously recognized for her personality as a sportscaster. Currently, she works for the NFL Network and is also well known for her time at ESPN.
Walsh grew up in Florida, specifically Tampa, surrounded by sports. She excelled in soccer throughout her childhood and went on to become a four-year starter at the University of North Florida. She worked diligently towards a career in sports broadcasting after graduating from the University of North Florida and worked as a weekend sports anchor and Redskins beat reporter in Washington, D.C. for several years.
Before that, she earned three Emmy awards working for WKRN in Nashville and also served a Sports Director in Georgia at WPGA. With extensive experience under her belt, it was no surprise that Walsh was hired by the ESPN network in 2010. She has been a wonderful contribution to the network ever since and has gone on to marry minor league baseball pitcher Matt Buschmann while continuing to carry out her passion with her career in sportscasting.
