About Samantha Arsenault Livingstone
Samantha Arsenault Livingstone reached the pinnacle of athletic achievement at the 2000 Olympics when she won gold as part of the U.S. 4x200 meter freestyle relay team. Despite the tremendous achievement, Livingstone had difficulty finding what was next. She struggled with mental health and an eating disorder. A mentor gave her the skills to overcome, however, and she went on to become a seven-time All-American swimmer and co-captain of a national championship team at the University of Georgia.
Livingstone went on to become a teacher, coach, mother, and wife. When she dealt with a near-death experience with one of her children, she had to lean on the same mental health tools that guided her through her post-Olympic journey. That convinced Livingstone to share her journey with others. She founded Livingstone High Performance and the Whole Athlete Initiative to help young people, athletes and business leaders alike.
