About Sam Dekker
After Wisconsin made it all the way to the 2015 NCAA Championship game, Sam Dekker decided it was time to go pro.Dekker was a two-time second-team All-Big 10 pick for the Badgers.His great individual run through March Madness at the end of his junior season earned him Most Outstanding Player of the West Regional. Dekker played heavily at UW since his freshman season and was just the fourth true freshman to start games for Bo Ryan.Out of Sheboygan Lutheran High School, he was a consensus five-star recruit.During his senior year, he was the Gatorade Player of the Year in Wisconsin, the state’s Mr. Basketball, and a Parade All-American.With 40 points in his final game including a game-winning three with two seconds remaining, Dekker won the school their first ever WIAA state title.
