Sal Paolantonio

Sal Paolantonio is most famously recognized reporting NFL stories as a bureau reporter for the ESPN network. Originating from Long Island, New York, he grew up aspiring to be a journalist specializing in history. Paolantonio pursued these goals with an undergraduate college education at the State University of New York at Oneonta, earning a degree in history, and a graduate college education at New York University, earning his master’s in journalism. Postgraduation, Paolantonio served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. After four years of honorable service, he went on to become a political reporter and beat reporter for the Philadelphia Eagles. Around that same time, he even published his first book, which was a biography about Frank Rizzo known as The Last Big Man in Big City America. Paolantonio later went on to become a professor at St. Joseph’s University for six years, before working for a radio network and settling down with his most recent network, ESPN. He is admired for his contribution of knowledge, wisdom and insight over the years.
