Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Biography

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is a star center and alternate captain for the Edmonton Oilers. There have always been big expectations for Nugent-Hopkins after the Oilers made him the top overall pick in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He debuted for the club that year and was named NHL Rookie of the Month in October and November. Nugent-Hopkins finished the year with 54 points on the way to being named to the NHL All-Rookie Team. In 2015, he broke out even further to be named an All-Star for the first time.
