About Robbie Lawler
Robbie Lawler is a mixed martial artist competing in the Ultimate Fighting Championship as a part of the welterweight division. He began training in karate at the age of 9 and by the time he turned 16 in 2000, he began training with Miletich Fighting Systems. Lawler made his professional debut in 2001 and proved he was a dominant force early on by winning his first four fights all by TKO/KO. At UFC 37 Robbie made his debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and won by unanimous decision. Lawler has fought as a part of UFC, Strikeforce, and IFC, in which he has competed in 36 bouts with a record of 25 victories, 19 by knockout, and 10 losses. The 2014 UFC Fighter of the Year fought in a rematch for the UFC Welterweight Championship at UFC 181 where he won the fight and won his first UFC title via split decision
