About Phil Bourque
Phil Bourque forever endeared himself to Pittsburgh Penguins fans as a member of their 1991 and 1992 Stanley Cup championship squads. Bourque was an undrafted player, but originally made his debut for Pittsburgh during the 1983-84 season. After retirement, he has been a mainstay as the color commentator for Penguins radio broadcasts and goes by the well-established nickname "Ol' Two-Niner". In 2019, he released the book, "If These Walls Could Talk, Pittsburgh Penguins," to recount iconic stories he was part of as a player and broadcaster.
