About Paula Weishoff
Paula Weishoff is a retired female volleyball player. Weishoff represented the United States at multipleinternational tournaments during her career, including the Olympics. Prior to her international success,Weishoff played at USC for one season, earning AllAmerican honors and leading the Lady Trojans to anational championship. After leaving USC, Wesihoff focused on internationalplay, winning multiplemedals at tournaments such as the NORCECA games, The World Championships, the PanAmericanGames, the Goodwill Games, and the World Cup. Overall, Weishoff has earned 10 total medals, with thehighlightbeing a silver medal at the 1984 Olympics and a bronze at the 1992 Olympics. Following herretirement from playing, Weishoff became the head volleyball coach at Concordia University, eventuallyleaving the team to coach at UC Irvine, a position she holds today.
