About Holly McPeak
Holly McPeak is a retired beach volleyball player who competed at multiple international events representing the United States. McPeak signed to play at the University of California out of high school, and she was named National Freshman of the Year in 1987, but she transferred to rival UCLA in 1990, leading the Bruins to a national championship. She has competed in three Olympics, with her best finish being a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics. In 1997, McPeak earned her highest international medal, a silver at the 1997 Los Angeles World Championships. McPeak has had multiple partners in her career, including Misty May-Treanor. She retired from volleyball in 2009 right before her 40th birthday, and she currently works as a color commentator for the Pac-12 Network.
