Patrick Kane Biography

Patrick Kane currently plays for the New York Rangers and is an all-time legend for the Chicago Blackhawks. He lived up to his billing during 15 seasons with the Blackhawks after being the first pick in the 2007 NHL Draft. Kane made an immediate impact for the Blackhawks, winning the rookie of the year award after scoring 72 points. Kane’s success would rejuvenate the Blackhawks, as they would go on to make the playoffs in 2008. 

In 2010, Kane scored a career-high 88 points, leading the Blackhawks to a Stanley Cup victory after scoring the game-winning goal in overtime of the final game. The Blackhawks also won the Cup in 2013 and 2015. Kane was the Conn Smythe Trophy winner in 2013. After Chicago raised Lord Stanley for a third time with Kane, he won the Hart Memorial Trophy and the Art Ross Trophy the following season. Kane is a nine-time All-Star overall. He was the youngest player to reach 1,000 career points in 2020 and was named to the 100 Greatest NHL Players list. Kane also proudly represented the United States in the 2010 and 2014 Olympics.
