About Patric Hornqvist
Patric Hornqvist had a unique road to the NHL, beginning his career originally in Sweden. He was also the last and final pick of the Nashville Predators in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Hornqvist did finally make his NHL debut with the Preds in 2008. The following season, he led the team in goals and tied for the lead in points. Hornqvist became even more valuable when he joined the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2014. He was a key cog in the Penguins teams that won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2016 and 2017. After six seasons in Pittsburgh, he joined the Panthers in 2020.
