Nick Young

Nick Young is an American professional basketball shooting guard/ small forward who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. Young attended the University of Southern California from 2004 through 2007. He was named All-Pac-10 First Team in the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. Young helped lead the Trojans to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen where they lost to North Carolina. Young announced on April 15, 2007 that he would not return his senior year and enter the 2007 NBA Draft. The Washington Wizards selected Young as the 16th overall draft pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. Young made his first career start on December 15, 2007 against the Sacramento Kings. On March 15, 2012, Young was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. Young helped the Clippers clinch their first playoff berth in 6 years. On July 12, 2012, Young signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers. One year later, on July 11, 2013, Young signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. In July 2014, he resigned with the Lakers with a 4-year, $21.5 million contract.
