Nate Robinson Biography

Nate Robinson is a star player in the National Basketball Association for the Denver Nuggets as a point guard. Robinson first began to play basketball competitively in high school where he led his team to the AAA State Championship in his senior season earning him the number 7 ranking among high school players by USA Today. Nate then transitioned to college where he began as a player on the football team before deciding to focus only on basketball. In his time in college he scored an average of 13.2 points per game in just his second season and was named to the First Team All-Pac-10 team twice. After foregoing his final year of eligibility Nate became the 21st overall selection in the 2005 NBA Draft as a selection of the Phoenix Suns. In the last decade as a professional player he has become a 3 time NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion and been honored as the recipient of the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award.
