About Mix Diskerud

Mix Diskerud plays for both NYCFC and the U.S. men’s national team. Diskerud scored the first goal in NYCFC history as the club tied fellow expansion side Orlando City SC 1-1 in a sold-out Orlando Citrus Bowl. He has competed for Team USA since 2010. Prior to joining MLS, Diskerud played in Norway and Belgium. He was originally born in Oslo, Norway to a Norwegian father and American mother. Before he played for the U.S., Diskerud was on the U18 and U19 Norway teams.
