About Christine Sinclair
As one of the greatest scorers in soccer history, Christine Sinclair left an indelible mark on the Canadian women's national team. Sinclair played for Team Canada from 2000-23, setting the all-time international goals record, She won Olympic gold for her country and two bronze medals as well.
Overall, Sinclair was a 14-time Canadian Player of the Year. In 2012, she broke the record for most goals scored in a single Olympic Games with six. Sinclair was a flag bearer for Canada at the 2016 Games and won gold in 2021.
In World Cup play, Sinclair led her country to a win in 2020. She is in elite company as one of just three men's or women's players to have scored in five World Cups.
