About Mikko Rantanen
Mikko Rantanen was born October 29, 1996 and is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing for the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the first round, 10th overall, by the Avalanche in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. On November 11, 2016, Rantanen scored his first NHL goal 1:03 into the second period in a game against the Winnipeg Jets. The Avalanche would go on to win the game 3–2 in overtime. He recorded his first NHL hat-trick on 8 February 2017 in a 4–0 win over the Montreal Canadiens.
