About Mike Jarvis
Mike Jarvis is a veteran college basketball head coach who has won 364 games. He is one of just four coaches to win at least 100 games at three different schools. Jarvis most recently spent six seasons as the head coach at FAU. The Owls won the Sun Belt regular season title in 2011 and made an appearance in the NIT. Jarvis led St. John's to three NCAA Tournaments in six seasons as their head coach. In his first year, the Red Storm made it to the Elite Eight. They won the Big East Conference Tournament in his second season. Jarvis took George Washington to March Madness four times in eight years from 1990-98. He began his head coaching career at Boston University. The Terriers won the America East Conference tournament twice under his watch. Jarvis was named America East Coach of the Year in 1990. Jarvis began his coaching career with stints as an assistant at his alma mater, Northeastern,and Harvard.
