About Mike Hill
Mike Hill was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. After graduating from high school in Bessemer, Alabama he enlisted in the United States Air Force and earned his undergraduate degree in communications from the Air Force Academy. In 1995 he began his career in broadcasting in Hagerstown, Maryland and then landed an anchor job in Fresno, California. He went on to cover high school sports in Nashville, Tennessee from 1997 to 2000 and won two Emmy Awards for Excellence in Sports Broadcasting, and then spent time at Fox Sports Net in New York from 2000 to 2002. During his time as a sports anchor in Dallas, Texas from 2002 to 2004 he continued to build on his reputation as one of the best sports broadcasters in the business, which landed him a job with ESPN in 2004. From 2004 to 2013 he was one of ESPN’s go to anchors on SportsCenter, ESPN First Take, NFL Live and Baseball Tonight. In 2013 he signed on with Fox Sports 1 as a guest host for Fox Sports Live and Fox Football Daily. In addition to his anchor duties he also serves as the CEO for Thrill of Entertainment.
