About Mike Bibby
Mike Bibby played 14 seasons in the NBA after helping the Arizona Wildcats to an NCAA Championship in 1997 and earning consensus First-Team All-American, Pac- 10 Player of the Year and First-Team All-Pac-10 honors in 1998. During his twoyear career at the University of Arizona he averaged just over 15 points and 5.5 assists per game, which made him one of the top prospects in the nation. In the 1998 NBA Draft he was selected in the 1st round with the No. 2 overall pick by the Vancouver Grizzlies and went on to earn NBA All-Rookie First Team honors in 1999. During his NBA career he played with the Vancouver Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards and Miami Heat before retiring with the New York Knicks in 2012. His best NBA season came in 2005-06 when he averaged 21.1 points per game and helped the Kings to their fifth consecutive playoff appearance in five seasons. Bibby retired in 2012 with a 14.7 points per game average and also averaged a solid 5.5 assists per game.
