Michelle Beadle

Michelle Beadle was born in Italy and made the move to Texas as a child. Throughout her childhood she was an avid sports fan, and describes herself as a tomboy growing up. After graduating from Boerne High School she attended the University of Texas and earned her degree in political science. After college she joined a law group and worked at the capital in Austin for three years before deciding to change course and pursue a career in sports broadcasting. She got her start as an intern with the San Antonio Spurs and eventually became a reporter for the team before heading to Fox Sports Net to host Big Game Hunters. In 2002 she worked at TNN as a sideline reporter, covering the Professional Bull Riders’ Bud Light Cup tour, and eventually headed to the Travel Channel as the host of the hit show Get Packing. After a variety of different jobs on television that included stints at Animal Planet, Fine Living Network and the Discovery Channel she landed a job as a co-host at ESPN. During her time at ESPN she served as the co-host on such hit shows as SportsNation and Winners Bracket and also served as a guest host on Mike and Mike in the Morning. After a brief stint at NBC Sports from 2012 to 2014 she returned to ESPN as the headline host of her hit show, SportsNation.
