About Michael Rasmussen
Michael Rasmussen is a Danish cyclist who won four stages of the Tour de France, a stage of the Vuelta a Espana, and the Giro dell’Emilia. Rasmussen was particularly adept on the mountain stages and was named the best climber in both the 2005 and 2006 Tour de France. His career originally took off in mountain biking. Rasmussen was the Mountain Bike World Champion in 1999.
