About Melissa Stark
Melissa Stark is a broadcaster who currently works for the NFL Network and is the sideline reporter for Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football Package. Stark attended the Roland Park Country School before she attended the University of Virginia. She began her broadcasting career in 1991 as a news intern at WMAR-TV in Baltimore. In 1993 and 1994, Stark worked as an intern for the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather where she wrote the scripts and assembled background information on investigative pieces for health. In 1996, Stark joined ESPN as the host of Scholastic Sports in America, where she traveled the country covering high school and college sports with a focus on human interest. From 1996-2003, she reported for SportsCenter, Sunday NFL Countdown, and Outside the Lines. She has also covered the NBA Finals, World Series, Stanley Cup Finals and the Final Four. Stark left ESPN and joined ABC in 2000.
