Maya Brady Biography

Maya Brady is a professional softball shortstop/outfielder for Team USA and The Talons of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League. A UCLA star (2020–24), she won Pac-12 Player of the Year (2023), set the Bruins’ consecutive-hit record (11), and ranks 2nd all-time in home runs. A two-time All-American and .400+ career hitter, she debuted in Japan’s Toyota Medics league before a hamstring injury delayed her AUSL start. She is the niece of NFL legend Tom Brady and MLB’s Kevin Youkilis, and the daughter of All-American pitcher Maureen Brady. Maya was named Softball America Freshman of the Year (2020) and represented USA Softball internationally.
