About Maurice Taylor
Maurice Taylor is a former NBA center for played professionally for 12 seasons. The Los Angeles Clippers selected Taylor 14th overall in the 1997 NBA Draft and he went on to get All-Rookie Second Team honors. He would also play for the Houston Rockets, New York Knicks, and Sacramento Kings before reviving his career overseas. Taylor played in Italy and China. He played three years at the University of Michigan and was a college star. Taylor was the Big 10 Freshman of the Year in 1994 and a second team All-Big 10 pick as a sophomore. His junior season was culminated by Michigan winning the NIT Championship.
