Marquis Teague Biography

Marquis Teague, born in 1993 in Indianapolis, Indiana, started playing professional basketball at the young and impressive age of twenty. Graduating from high school in 2011, Teague was one of the top-rated high school basketball players in the nation. In fact, in the ESPNU 100, he was named the consensus top ranked point guard in his class. Teague committed to the University of Kentucky as a junior in high school, but did not last long there as he was entered into and selected for the 2012 NBA Draft. As the 29th overall pick, the Chicago Bulls could not pass up the promising young player. Teague currently plays for the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA Development League and is climbing up the ladder to success. He is also a FIBA World Championship holder with a gold medal from 2010 earned on the national team.
